why does my car bog?
Every day when I start my car, it sounds as if it's starving for air or fuel. When I first start it, the rpm reads 800 and bogs down to 500rpm, but once it is warmed up, the tach goes up to 800rpm again. If I step on the gas as i am warming it up, it bogs a little, also. After Ive driven it a few block, it's fine. Sometimes when I'm at a light and start to take off, it feels as if it is loosing power. But once I hit 2nd, it's fine! Everything cas been completely rebuilt/replaced, from new sensors to engine. Anyone have any idea what the problem is? NO smart asses telling me to RTFM! Ok? that's irritating! THANKS GUYS!!! Any help is appreciated!
Could be an 02 sensor

my car has the same problem. but i have a cam, and it shuts off right after i start it when its ice cold, like sitting over night if i dont blip the throttle a couple times.
surging idle is a huge pain in the ass with mustangs. but any car that starts up has a hard time for a sec to get and stay running.
there are so many things it could be, like mine still bogs and surges when i downshift or dont accel in the gear im in and throw into neutral. its something ive chased around for the longest time, and still happens.
good luck, ill find the bitch of a problem someday, lol

depending on what fan (dual, single, pusher, puller), etc you have that could very well be leading towards the heating up problem

as for the heat a radiator flush and a 180 thermo did my '66 good. and for the bogging since you have some aftermarket stuff look into a remote optimizer that helped my '91 alot. also sounds simple but fuel filter.
