Yep. Tampa/Hilsborough County Florida, where getting the stormwater drainage system fixed isn't a priority but keeping consenting adults from getting a lap dance is.

Sorry to hear that. As imagined, there was plenty of cars flooded out in front of my parents house. Frances, Jomar and I made a trip down there to lend a hand and try and get some of the water out of my parents family and dining rooms. We run into the same issues with jackass drivers that make wakes and push water into the houses as your mom did with her car.

Man that really sucks...i hate when assholes think that just because they drive a big fucking suv or truck that they have to barrell through the water.
i hope everything works out for you mom. You know the insurance Co. will not just replace the car..they will dry the interior out and make sure it runs good because I am sure that car was a lot of $$$$$$$

wow, thats crazy. My friend called me last night when she was driving home. She was saying she was scared that she wouldnt get home. I thought she was just being a wuss, but now i see what she was talking about. I told her not to drive in it. I wonder if she made it home

I just pass judgment from past a past experiance in trying to get a 96-97 flooded Cobra back to the way it was. It was more effort than it was worth and still there were issues. Everything from wiring malfunctions to rust/corrosion in places where you would never think it could go. What a nightmare.
Oh well, all Alan and I can do is just roll with it and keep supporting teh parental unit mentally.
