hey... i was just readin an article in hotrod or something where they tested the new MT drag radials vs MT slicks, and the radials got about .2 better on the times...

I wish traction was as it was for you for me! For the life of me, I could not hook up well. It was either bog the car, or spin excessively and my usual launch method on slicks (rev to 4500, then floor it at last yellow light (so revs are at about 6000 on the green), then ride clutch out fast) which had gotten 1.8's was not working. Of the spin or bog choices, it turned out that bogging the car to 2.0's and 2.1's was giving the best results, even on slicks as once the tires started spinning there was no stopping them.
In any case, I still had a great time out there as there was quite a showing.
