Anyone have dyno results for a stock GT 99 and up?
Hey I was wondering if any of you guys had a dyno graph or could tell me when it is a stock GT hits it's max HP before it's starts to drop? I had something that told me but can't find it online anymore. See my plan was to set my G-tech Pro to flash at me just a little after I hit the max so i can shift at a good time were i can hold onto a good amount of HP. That sound like a good idea to you all? But if anyone has a dyno graph or knows what it is let me know.
Thanks
Thanks
WHAT DO YOU SHIFT AT NOW AND WHAT GEAR DO YOU HAVE?woops

i shift low right now trying to keep gas in the car you know but when i push it i was shifting like right near redline but i backed it off some and it felt a little more strong when i shifted around like 4800 - 4900 maybe it's just me i don't know....my gears are 4.10 gears

i seen this is MM&FF this month issue, they took a bone stock 01' GT with a cat-back and headers and put a new kenny bell twin screw super charger and made over 500hp on the ground with stock internals. i think it was running like 15psi. but anyways they dynoed it before hand and got like 247RWHP @ around 4,500. when they added the twin screw at 6psi it put down 357 then 9psi 398, 11psi 430, 15psi 511

I think it's a very general rule of thumb, but you should generally shift 500rpms past your peak. It depends on the car though.I shift my 5.0 at 5700rpms. I shift at 5,000 if I'm walkin away, 5700 or so if it's close. I do this because I figure every rpm is going to count with a 100,000 mile motor.
