Coyote 5.0 + Fox thoughts?
Anybody thinking about a Coyote/Fox? Seems like a very tempting conversion to me. If this new engine with bolt ons and tune can push a new GT into the 11's, then it should fly in a Fox coupe.

Expensive unless you can find a deal on a new car take out or used one somewhere. Maybe not expensive considering what it is,.. but you could build a 351 based engine making the same or more hp for less money. Thats just my line of thought. But if you have the means then I'd love to see a new 5.0 in a fox body. I think it would be bad ass. Dont let me be the one that turned you away from it.

Time will tell how cheap this sort of swap will be able to be done.

You won't need to mod these motors, much, to see a realistic improvement in a Foxbody. They're making 412hp @ crank, about 374hp @ rear wheels. This is a good bit stronger, HP wise, than MOST of the "typical" HCI push-rod 302's running around.
I would love to do this swap in any old Ford-related vehicle. Finding one in an affordable price-point is the hardest part (for starters), then the next debacle would be getting it wired & all bugs ironed out at an affordable cost too.

Ford is now going to offer a lower HP version of the coyote in the F150.
Actually, a bunch of cool engines slated for the F trucks.

I wonder whose gonna make the first carb intake for this engine... I think it would be cool in something like this..
1959 Ford Ranch Wagon.

But only in two door. Very rare car to find.
