are there any swap meets around here.i know of the sumter swap meet but they are not having it because its to hot.so if you know any any swap meets please let me know.

 

yeah, I hate summer. No swap meets. I can't wait for september for the sumter one to start up again. They still have the one in webster during the summer months but that's 95% motorcycle stuff. I don't know if any of the car guys try to sell their stuff there while the sumter one is on summer vacation.

 

Supposedly there is one in Webster the first weekend of the month. I will be there with my car in pieces.

you guys are confusing WEBSTER and SUMTER. They are two different swap meets. The one held at the webster flea market grounds is a motorcycle swap meet with very few car parts. They hold that one EVERY month, even during the summer. The CAR swapmeet is held at the Sumter county fairgrounds, which is located about 3 miles from the webster flea market grounds. They hold BOTH swapmeets during the first sunday of the month but they don't have the car swapmeet in july and august because it's too hot. when I had my bikes in addition to my cars I used hit both of them. They are both outstanding swap meets. The automotive one has about 1200 vendors every month. It completely blows away the swap meet they have in zephyrhills twice a year.

Only went to Webster car swap meet once, sold everything I had in a couple hours including a 79 roller (guuted with Welds and a cowl hood) for $1200! there's not a tone of Fox stuff up there. The guy that bought mine said there were 3 rollers, including mine there, and the first 2 were sold as the people were driving in, trying to get to thier spots and set up. I was done and leaving by noon
