I think for the fab work and cost of the swap, one could build a much more stout motor for the price. Other than to be different whats the point of that?

Ever owned a straight 6 powered vehicle? Very hard engines to destroy... I dumped a LARGE engine outta my truck for a '67 Factory Chysler HiPo 225ci Slant 6. All 165hp and 390tq of it. Hauls the racecar like nothings back there and will live longer than I will aslong as I keep oil in it.


That guy did a swap that was different, wont die on him, and runs sub 10s with the a/c on. Only other swap I woulda done, woulda been carb'd Teksid 4V powered.

Agreed, I just dont like seeing jap engines in american cars. But I'm just biased because I think its awesome to see an american V8 in a jap car lol.
