Back to the Oval
Well, Did away with drag racing for a while. Its just not fun anymore to me. My brother has been bugging me to get back into circle track and I had a blast driving his Challenger. I met up with an old freind from the Dirt Track days and picked this bad bitch up for $350. Its an ex-dirt car so a few things will need to be changed around suspension wise but nothing major.
1979 Camaro chassis. 1995 5 Star Bodies, body. Which is getting torn off and a early '80s Monte/Regal body will be dropped on. 400ci SBC with a 3speed. 9". Adjustable birdcages in the rear will be going. Seeing as how thats a Dirt LateModel thing and Konis will be going in their place on all four corners. Enough talk, heres the car!

For all the "other items" traded and $350, it came out to about $750. Which still isn't bad at all!
The end of this season is gonna be a deff learning experience, never drove in a class with this much motor.

Meh, fuck it. I got some old motor shots.
This was the motor in the Trans Am, the day i picked it up A&S Motorsport in Riverview. Gils the best.

'79 350ci with late '60s heads off a 350 from a SS Camaro. Victor Jr intake with 1" spacer. All clevite bearings with a .430 cam, IIRC .110 Lobe (sounded sick). 7 quart BB oil pan and double roller TC. That was a $690 engine. Slow as fuck but it looked good!
