Default I have a question

I have an 85 Mercury capri with a 93 5.0 in it i recently put an msd ignition system in it. i have a tach adapter but i dont know which wire to hook it up to (to the gauge cluster) if someone knows i really would like to get the tach working again. also i bought a wet nitrous system where do i hook the fuel line to?

If you have an MSD there should be a terminal on the side of the ignition box. Thats your most acurate tack signal right there.

As for the fuel line....is it a carb'd or EFI motor?

it's efi, i have the wet, plate system. and as far as the tach im trying to find out which wire in the guage cluster is the tach wire

Well if its EFI on the passenger side of the motor where the fuel lines run (assuming you have stock fuel lines) some where on the line there should be a test port. Take that out and screw a fitting in and run a line from there to the fuel solenoid.

if I remember right the 85-86 cars did not have a fuel rail test port like the 87-93 cars did.
You might have to convert over to the 87-93 fuel rail.

yeah the car was totaly converted to the 93 system it was origionally a carb car

Talk to Shaun yet about the tach? Or John about the nitrous fuel feed?

Hey Chris thanks for getting me on to this site it has already helped out a lot hopefully we can get on the line sometime after i get a new intake and injectors
