Default Exhaust question?????

What exaust do you guys recommend for a 2000 v6 stang? i like the stock sound but im looking for a bit more as well as some benefited power. I really dont want to be abnormally loud. I have a brand new h-pipe in the garage if you think that route is the best way to go.

I'd install the H-pipe and maybe get some mufflers other than stock. I don't know what sounds good on a new-edge v6 though

try mustangforums.com, they are pretty knowledgeable over there regarding new-edges in general

My buddy had a 2000 V6 that belonged to his wife, and she wanted a more aggresive sound, so he bought her the MAC catback, sounding pretty damn good. Just a suggestion.

2000 mustang v-6 = 3.8L and 18-19 MPG around town?

My 1994 mustang = 3.8L and 18 MPG around town.

My 1995 Cobra = 5.0L and around 17-18 around town.

The mileage is about the same, but it really depends on how you drive them.

im actually getting 23-24 on average with about 20% being highway driving. around town id say like 21. its not bad. for a v6 its pretty quick.

He bought the kit from a vendor at the NMRA races in bradenton, actually. I was surprised to see a vendor bring stuff for a V6 though. I am sure you can order it online anywhere. Hell you can probably go to any exhaust shop and have them weld up a flowmaster, and duals for about a couple of hundred bucks.
