ok so this weekend i had to change out my battery on the stang... i had bad termanils and decided to put them on anyways.. well to make a long story short my fuse wire was fried so i replaced it and now my bat light is on and the bat on my tac is saying that the bat is low. now my thinking is not that my altenator is bad, but i fried the alt wire as well.. if anyone can help me out id be thankful

 

Knowing what year the car is, will help us a lot.

Sounds like your Alt is now bad. Where are you located? Run it up to an Autozone or Advance and have it tested.

You may also have a couple fusible links that have burned up also.

 

ya im gonna try.. i hope it makes it there.. i drove from tampa to cocoa and when i got in my yard it died...so... ill try but if not ill just get a used altnator and put it on there.. im thinking i need to looka at a few more wires because my radio isnt working at all and all the fuses are good..so any more input??!?!?!?!?!
