it it like some unspoken thing u do when u have an slow import or what. I went to the causway sat nite for the frist time and shit, all i got was every fucking honda, srt4 and nissan there running up to me reving the motor and tring to race me just because i am in a mustang that sounds good
I went out there to see what all the hype and talk is about, i kept on hearing ow its a good spot and lots of nice cars and so on. I will say i had a good laugh though this one little prick and his girl was in a srt4 and i am cruzing about 45 and he pulls behind me and donwshifts and spools up the turbo and lets off so i hear the bov, so i said fuck it i gave her some gas and let him hear my turbo spool and bov and u sould of seen him and his girl, it was like they seen a gost lol it was priceless

 

Nice I used to go out there all tha time. But all u hear is honda missin gears when they race and shit!!! Yea they would always come up to me and ask to race only problem was htye either always had nitrous or boostin over 10 psi I know I can't beath that! Ur mustang is turboed? Wat u putting down man?

 

Haha, you don't need much to beat them. With my old stock n/a motor i would rape them all the time. Raced this one guy with nitrous in a hatch. Man was he pissed when i beat him 3 times in a row. So was the one turbo civic i race once. Raced him three times, kept running him because he had a excuse every time. I was on street tires leaving at like 1400rpms nice and easy...just walking away the whole time. Hes trying to get traction and i still haven't laid into it. Then when he finally would get traction i would open it up and just count the car lengths..then bus lengths...

Really there is not much of a point in racing them. It just gave me a reason to have some fun with the car...and make them look dumb.

 

Gotta love srt4's lol, i think they blow off at idle dont they? lol


SRT's are like std's, once you have one you cant get rid of it

 

i remember racing a mostly stock srt4 over the howard franklin one night. my truck was a stock 2.3 turbo with some timing, race fuel, and 20psi.... and almost 200k miles. we stayed pretty even.

 

well they are a few beers short of a six pack?? What do you expect?

 

I raced one in my old car that ran 11.90s, from a roll I barley pulled on it Cool kid tho...not a "ricer"

 

I don't race causeway and having a 240sx driving at night is usually a 50/50 chance somebody will want to race me when all I want to do is go home. Most of the domestic drivers I know now just go to bmp. The risk is too high to race on the street nowadays.

me too i mean its a waste of time to run most of the cars out there, i want a race not to kill a car lol i did race a bike from like a 40mph roll that was fun
