getting a screen name first is a requirement, though.

If someone has a business, concours, etc. I will get you a free shop forum where you
can post your business stuff as much as you want, and then you can refer people to go there
so as to keep the Keystone newsletter "spam-free" as someone has suggested.

Alan suggested that when we buy something at Winn Dixie, we mention that we were at the Keystone Motor Club meeting in the parking lot.
Several members bought stuff after the July 20 meeting. Good idea.

I appreciate that 12 members attended the meeting, and by pro-actively talking to passers by.
We signed up two new members and they are now getting this newsletter
If anyone gets duplicate notices, please let me know which email to use and which one to delete.
There is still one email that is unresolved.

Putting your mind at ease, I don't plan to put any member on a spam list.
This newsletter is just for informing about Keystone Motor Club business only.
I'm asking members to leave advertisements out of this newsletter and post them in their free shop forum.
One person still needs to move their ad from this newsletter to their free shop forum.
The members will decide about accepting your ideas, so be proud enough to attach your name to it

Any Keystone member can post to this "highly informal strictly voluntary" newsletter that will remain cost free to the club,
cost free to any member and which any member can access, read and post to, 24 hours per day, without compromising their email address to any spammer.

I can send the instructions to any member as to how to post something, and if needed, I don't mind sitting next to you in the library
showing you the actual procedure. Jimmy B keel library is a good midway location. If anyone needs an email address we can get one free at the library and I can show you how. The library also has free computer classes.

I am acknowledging my gratitude to Jan for securing our meeting spot at Winn Dixie.
and my thanks to Former Keystone Motor Club President Sam Prentice for attending our meeting
to lend his continuing support.

I wrote down a few suggestions/questions/ideas for future meetings and activities....

-Henry volunteered to be the "Keeper of the Banner"...to be displayed at our meetings near our cars and used for other activities. Banner needs to be transferred member to member as needed.
-Suggestion: Parking close together, facing same direction, hoods up, to look like a car show instead of just a parked car.
-Maybe for cooler weather.....and/or lack of shade.... near the road for higher visibility....with our banner......

-Other suggested meeting locations: If there is a lack of shade, some might be better/cooler for later in the year.
We can add to the list as new ideas come in...
-Mobley and Gunn Hwy, Real estate office parking lot
-Gunn Hwy Flea Market
-Keystone Park pavillion
-Zephyr Hills Streetside Classics
-Piggy back with another car club at THEIR meeting place.
-A members house by invitation, if they are willing to host.

-Other activities:
-Any member can suggest a place or two to drive to and maybe a side activity, a "tour", a meeting, someone else's car show, etc. Since the club is going to be run by our members, maybe we can find a separate person each meeting to be tour leader for a day...or as needed....and pick some target dates to make it happen....if someone wants to have one. I can contribute a few maps of back roads.
-One person per event? Committee?
-What distance are we willing to drive? Close by? County? Daytona?

-Access the commitment level:
-Someone is interested. 2 more names added to our club on July 20.
-Newsletter has been looked at by over 1,000 people prior to July 20.
-Suggested that we contact previous members and bring them or invite them to the August 17 meeting

-Publicity:
-We can add email addresses of "friends of Keystone Motor Club", not randomly and not to spam, but to
keep other clubs/individuals/posted and share info about events, etc.
-Maybe KCA? Maybe others?

-Newsletter:
-Pictures posted when we figure out how...? Buddy has a few.
-Articles? Any member with a screen name can post an article, hopefully car related.
-Any member can post with a screen name. Please keep "promotions" to your free shop forum.
