The 1950s were a time of inocents and purity, no-one used drugs, sex didn't exist. Untill those hippys came along, life was perfect. And i'm the handsomist man in the world. Watch this episode of Dragnet if you ever tempted to believe any of the above claptrap. Remember it was broadcast on N B C in 1952. Yes i said 1952. GET THE POINT?

The commercials are a great commentary on life in the '50s, "makes meatballs for a family of eight." That was back when children were considered a blessing and Moms were there to make homemade meatballs.

At the time, they didn't have much specific info on marijuana, so they just assumed it was just like heroin or uppers or other drugs

Gosh, I never knew that marijuana was such a lethal drug. I used to hear parents tell their kids that marijuana use led to communism (!)

About the worse thing anyone under the influence of pot will do is steal your doritos... what a tragedy REEFER MADNESS wrought ... @ 12:07 pot gets smeared in "along with other stimulating drugs" ("yellow jackets/goof balls... dope, I guess, narcotics") no wonder nobody trusts the "just say no to (ALL) drugs... but go get me a pack of camels"
