What driving simulator or driving game do you use for drifting?
I'm using a Driving Force GT, which I think is similar to a G25 but with a sequential shifter?
You have mad skills, my friend. You're moving the wheel a lot faster than I have been; it slips off my desk if I throw it around too quick. Nothing a couple of drywall screws can't fix.

LFS > Forza 3
ive played forza for 4 years and when i came across lfs i was amazed. the handling and feel is on point but when you see the graphics and texture of the game most people look the other way. but like other guys said make sure you have a wheel. g25 or g27

The absolute best experience so far is:
Xbox 360 - "Grid" - Microsoft Steering Wheel - seat and mount
We used to play Grid in my living room with a couch, a dining table, and a projector. Hook the wheel up to the table, couple cushions on the couch, done.
Note: Only use the S15, the other cars are too odd. We also had to put a sponge under the gas pedal because it was too touchy.
End result: Once you get over the fact that it simply blows the tires away with the slightest throttle, and that the throttle is touchy (best to play with socks), it offers hands down, the best drift sim Ive ever used. Why? Because it lets you learn all the fundamentals of drift, how to drive to walls, and the joy of a non complicated setup.
Why is it better? Team Orange was a consultant on the drift physics. The replays are amazing. Attention to detail on the cars is incredible, no fucking with settings.

I kinda agree with that^. It's a completely different approach to a sim than what GT5 is, but I feel like I've learned a bit by trying to push myself closer and closer to the walls.
I like Grid because its more about the style, timing, execution. Keep trying to tag the wall in the same spot, keep trying to initiate off a curb. Stuff you want to do to a drift car all the time but with zero consequence.
I'm the opposite, I tried grid, and it's too "arcadey" for me, not realistic means I lose intrest instantly, but everyone likes different things obviously. Grid to me is an arcade game that anyone can pretty much turn it on and start playing decent. Live for speed is more like real life, takes a lot of practice to get good at it, and when you do with a proper setup, it actually translates to improvements in real life.
