Default drifting on air bags/struts?

Ok, well Im really not 100% into drifting. I would like to get more into it once i get my corolla running more stable and solid. But, If i lower my car anymore than it is my front bumper wont last trying to get up my driveway. Would it be much harder trying to drift on air bags ore air struts that allow me to raise/lower my car when i want? Please, no flaming me... if you dont ask questions you'll never know. So let me know what setups you would suggest if you dont think this would be a realistic setup.

you would have to get an alignment every time you raise/lower

The lowest cars don't make the best drift cars and stiffest cars don't make the best drift cars either.

The best idea to have suspension wise is to think tight, no slop.

- coilovers allow adjust ability and make the most dramatic improvement.
- bigger sway bars reduce body roll, but pay attention to the front/rear size ratio, drift or grip.
- loose the old bushing for solid end links or at least new urethane.
- stretched tires also tighten up the car and allow easier initiation and transitioning.

air bags are for show cars to drive to and from parking lots, your alignment can only be correct in the up or down position the other will eat your tires over time.

JTM sounds about right. I would not drift on air bags/air struts, either.

I want a tight car and a balanced car. Wider tires mean you need more power to spin them, unless you went wider as a balancing technique.

If you want a "bumper rash" solution, post up a pic of the car and the driveway. I may have a solution.

If anyone on TR wants to learn how to raise/lower a car with
ADJUSTABLE coilovers without a trip to the alignment shop
each time, get back with me.-Bob

put it this way. my car is on 14" rims with like 195's... the slope in my drive-way is like a 45* angle with like a 4 ft incline... i think that sounds right... its pretty steep but my digi cam is down atm. But i think im just going to slam it anyway and park it by the road looks > parking the the drive way.
