Official who liked Charlotte drift event/would support more at that track thread!
 

okay, who liked it? It was cold yes, a good ways for tampa/ft myers people to drive yes, no tire changing machine, no judging, but... it was FREEE and people got some good amounts of seat time.

There were minimal mishaps, save a few, but everything was worked out, and next time it would be MUCH better. They will have the ENTIRE track open, as this time one part of the X in the middle was closed off, because of a schedual conflict with some guys with go-karts. Next time they will try to have a tire changer, and they would have, but the track had been closed for 3 weeks prior, and the guy didn't have it there.

Overall, I liked it, everything went decently, and there will definitely be cash prizes in the future. Next time there may be an entry fee, but we will try to get something setup with this. Sorry goes out to the guys who couldn't find the track because of stupid derkas in the charlotte area, next time there will be better contact info. Thanks to all who came, I hope to see you guys show up next time.

I had a great time, didnt do too well, but enjoyed myself, Great event. The Track was ALOT better than i thought it would be. Thanks to everyone who put it on.

Yes I hate circle tracks. Yes I loved this event though.

so what happened to the judges? and since they wern`t there, where does that leave everybody as far as making the circuit?

oh and the 300zx cranked out some mad drifting for being n/a w/ open diff.

hahaha good stufff........fast drifting, long slides, good tandem....BADDD wall....thats all i have to say, and one other thing, thanks to everyone who put on the event, it was awesome!!

yea i have footage too but mine diddnt turn to great it would be kool if you could post the video i wanna c that again.....o yea and the event was sweet. even if i cant drift but hey i try lol

please put up video, my friend was filming and he was zooming out when it happend and you can only hear it happen, and i wanna see it......lol good day tho
