Thursday 3 PM

Mark and I finally secure a rental car. Neither one of us trusted driving our cars 1200 miles there or wanting to put the miles and not drive gas guzzlers either. Its a 2005 Mercury Sable GS with the beast like 160hpish Vulcan 3.0 motor. Full power and goodies minus leather and cd player. Slow as hell, but at highways speeds it moved decently.



Friday 4 AM



We meet up with Taylor, James, Mike Yonke and his g/f and caravan upto Road Atlanta together. doing 90-95 most of the way there.

About noonish we arrive at the Road Atlanta. Wow. First time seeing a true road course and one with huge elevation changes, is simple incredible sight to see.



The early part of the day, the Panos driving school was doing racing followed by a Spec Miata Cup race as well.



We made our way to the points to see if we run into anyone we know and grab some shots and see who all is competing and what cars we are going to see.









We ran into Kyle and Eric of DGTrials of course and "The Chicken"

 

Hook out with the Enjuku Crew for a bit. Said hi to Matt, Rob, Scott, and Mike. Matt was busy handing out shirts and giving autographs. Already becoming a Celeb it seems
