Default DD3 was AWESOME!

I had such a blast. Got to meet everybody again or for the first time. I hope to get down to Tampa soon and hang out with some of you guys and girls. Everybody was doing great. I was really impressed with the skill level. Florida is moving up in the map.

Cali, Michigan, and New Jersey have nothing on us. I would love to see events monthly. And hope to get my car out at the next one.

Everybody needs to post pics and videos for all the people that missed out. I will get some stuff hosted tonight (hopefully) and get my pics on here. I took 217 pics and have some good ones.

GO FL!!!

man we had a blast, but once again, tire selection was my enemy. i need to learn how to match tires to the course.

since the car is KA and underpowered, i typically run snow tires bc of their amazing loss of grip in the dry. UNFORTUNATELY, we were running 195/60R15's on 5.5" wide wheels. that paired with the ultra smooth track and fine wisps of sand ont he track turned our car into a spinning battle top all day. that car was a fucking handful! hopefully next time ill actually have money to buy nice tires (read new).

but all in all, had a blast!

ohhhh yea. drive sucked from sarasota but it was well worth it.
I have 2 laps in the sr meeeata on tape. cant wait till i find out how to post that. everyone did awsome. the FB was attacking the first turn section like a mad-man, well done. same with genral lee and the z31. Thanks for the good times, next time i will be ready for sure.

edit: the kat looked to have the hardest acceleration IMO. damn that thing sounded mean.

I had tons of fun. The event was a complete success I feel. The car is finally where it needs to be, and I had to completely re-learn it, but everything was finally, very intuitive.

I cannot thank these people enough for helping me work on the car until 4AM Saturday morning in order to make DD3.

Scott Avoy
Ken Harrison
Paul Sauder
Estevan Mariani
Regina Rached

All of you, you rocked the mic.

And for the event:

Thank you OGP. Your staff was awesome, everyone was very friendly, and the smiles are much appreciated by us at the drift event. Will will do whatever you ask of us as long as you treat us fairly with track time and costs. I understand that this first event was definitely a learning experience, and because of that track time was not the greatest, but combined with the Hurricane bearing down on us, I think everyone for the most part really enjoyed the event. Kyle, you ran this event better than any event I've seen run; This is truly your element.

Finally I was able to relax at the event, and only worry about my car, my friends, and the people around me that wanted to talk , discuss, relax, and have a good time between runs.

Thanks again, Can't wait for the next one. (maybe my transmission will shift better too )

The owner..Jeff I believe, seemed like a great guy, and I thought it was awesome he was walking up t everyone asking them how they felt about it.! That was awesome

I had a blast, thats for damn sure,

Last set of runs owned me... low tire pressure sux..

But the course was wonderful, and i cant wait to hit it up on monday nights if that works out

p.s. I always love seeing everyone out there, that I dont get to see o n a reg basis

great track, awesome format! TOO MANY DRIVERS, NOT ENOUGH TRACK TIME!! but great nonetheless, this damn sport is like crack.... The more you get the more your body craves it. And the true masters of it are just plain bad ass.... there are so many variables, its ludacris. You could have a section down pat for 4 laps and then completely blow it after that, I absolutely love it! The track was way better then primus in my opinion. Big props to all who attended and drove, your skills are improving, stay with it and one day you too could be a drift god like H.B.

oh man, I loved that track, so smooth, so fun, and way faster, and wider that primus. not that primus was bad, that was awesome too. but i'd go for more laps just like i'm sure everyone esle would. hurricane, I hate you. i'm still tweakin and wanting more! but yeah, awsome runs and everybody I met, mostly everyone was a new face, was awesome and I can't wait until the next event. thanks a lot to everybody who put it together, you did an AWESOME job considering we all had to yield to extenuating circumstances, hurricane, I hate you.
