Default AE92

My friend just got an 89 corolla SR5. It's not bad or anything, but would someone recommend him doing anything before trying to drift with it. He got it for free from his neighbors, so it wasn't a bad deal at all. I think it's FWD which sucks, and he really wants an 86 hatch. Any advice with this car is really appreciated, thanks.

Sorry to be blunt, but If he plans on drifting, the best mod he can do is sell it and buy a rwd car. dispite what you may have done on need for speed underground, a fwd car does NOT oversteer on throttle...

Although you can pull the e-brake no matter what drive the car is, so you could learn e-brake control which is the first step to mastering drift acording to the drift bible.

So, just start pulling the e-brake in empty parking lots... that about all you can do with that car...

pulling the e-brake is a power slide in a front wheel drive car tru.
but the guy needs to start small first. it wont be so bad if he wrecks a free car.

Thanks for everyone's advice. I think he's just going to sell it and buy a RWD car. I saw that RWD Integra on the DDay II video, and I was amazed that someone actually took that much time and effort into making a Honda RWD. Props to that guy. Thanks again, peace.
