I'll be there, I have to do runs to get my NHRA license. If any of you run under 6.29 1/8 or 9.991/4 you have to get them, they are enforcing it at the end of the month since they switched to an NHRA track.

Only the FWD cars have to wait. Just think if you could run an 8.4 or lower you could get in the fast line.

I was surprised not to see you there. The track was kinda greasy early but when the sun went down, I found some grip. In my three runs I cut .524, .535, .501 lights. :whoa: My best was a 8.21 at 87. Not a bad night.

Well I got my NHRA License, but I also destroyed a $1050 torque converter that was supposed to be unbreakable:(. My last two runs were horrible, it just slipped the whole way down the track. I should have a new one ready by track day though.

I saw your mustang, looks like a clean car. What kind of 60fts. are you running? Looks like you might have a little more in it there from your mph.

yeah that was me letting the intercooler breathe and man I practically have to wet sand the melted rubber to get it off my white car.

This was my best all-around for the night, and was my last pass. Like you said, it was pretty slippery at the line but, got better for me as the track cooled down. Thanks for the compliment, and congratulations on the license.

Congtats on the license. The track looked like nobody was hooking up but to my disbelief Cory(allmotor Crx) cut a 1.59 and then 1.57 60ft time. That is great for Fwd. His best for the night was 7.3 @ 97mph.

Wish I would have known he was running. I have not seen him run since he did all the work. Sounds like it rides out.

He was in the pro lane. You didnt see him because you were in the long line with the rest of the slow cars. You just start posting or racing?

street tires has nothing to do with your r/t. and you have a pretty good 60' for street tires. what was your mph?

Was that the CRX that came in on a trailer, I think it was white with yellow flames on the front? That thing looked fast, but I didn't see it run, I was in the line with the slow cars :-D It looked like a NOPI race car, fiberglass front clip, etc. BTW, I think I could live with 1.5 60', and I am rear wheel drive.

That was him and the whole car is stock metal. No fiberglass front end. It does have an aluminum dash and is light. It runs 11.30@119mph in the 1/4.

The motor is stock with a ported stock upper and lower. When I had just a 125 shot I ran a 8.44 @ 81.92. That was with 3.73's, FRPP King Cobra clutch, Pro-M 77 air meter, pullies and Nitto Drag Radials. Since then I added the blower (6 PSI), drop to a 75 shot, fuel pressure regulator, 42# injectors, and dyno tuning at Fordspeed.

i was there wednesday night. track was retarded early. got there at 6 and made two passes. stupid. waited till later. track hooked hard for me. i was in the "street car" lane. i like the street car lane but it hink i am gonna go to the pro lane next time.

still cant stall it up high like i can at BMP but fun. launch pad itself isnt that good for me. had three straight passes of 1.56 (with a 5, 3, 9). :tard:

I used to run in the street car lane but if you are fast enough for the pro lane you should run it. This way you dont wait in line all night.

How fast do you have to be to run in the pro lane?

lol that would make me one of the fastest L's in the state. no, my L is just a high 12 second truck. i have hardly any mods and dont intend on much more for a while.

i heard all you have to run is an 8.3 but i am going to find out next time i go out there. or maybe someone can chime in.

As far as i know you have to be in the 7's to run pro lane. I'm not 100% sure though.

8.4 or faster guys.
