So in my travels on YouTube stumbling in the dark...

I found one poster who says the 2019 Charger Scat Pack is louder than the 2015+ because the valves in the exhaust are ALWAYS open.

Therefore, just my two-cent simpleton opinion here...

Dodge should no longer brand the 2019s with 'Active Exhaust' as there is no Normal-to-Sport mode to open said valves. That butterfly in the valve no longer flies.

And by definition, this would mean my 2018 Scat Pack in Sport Mode is the same grunt and volume as a 2019 Scatty Pack in Driving Miss Daisy mode.

Apparently 2019s also gain the SRT pages and the 'Track Mode', which is maybe the same decibels as Sport Mode, with the placebo effect of making the Charger 'feel' louder.

Know that regardless your year of Charger, I always give the when I drive by.

Back to my off-season FA watch on NFL network...

what would be the use of putting the active exhaust in on the 2019's if they were as this guy on youtube said "always open" I flat out don't know because I have never heard a 2019 or seen any real technical documentation about the 2019 exhaust, but i'm guessing this guy on youtube is wrong.
