Has anyone had any good or bad dealings with having a car sent across the country? I'm talking Cali to Fl. Any ballpark prices? Any companies to look into or to avoid completely?
808 and L0r1... you guys had a car shipped, right? Would you recommend them even though they wrecked your car? was it a freak accident? How much was it anyway?

from cali to here....for a ramcharger with one place was $1200 or so. And they were the cheaper place I found online.

We had the Newport shipped from Cali to Florida when we bought it back in 99, cost $800, they were excellent, I'd have to find the papers again from them. United Van lines is who fucked up the newport good. I DO NOT and WILL NOT reccomend them. They fucked up the door so bad that they couldn't close it, and they tried to kick the door close and now it has a size 11 dent. John, MrSelfDestruct has had a ccar shipped and also had a bad expierence, you may want to ask him which company that was and avoid them as well. I'll see if I can find the Company that originally shipped the Newport.
go to collectorcartrader.com and click on transport companies.
