not enough power for the work.

CrazyMoparGirl 09-04-2002 09:45 PM

well thanks to them I know I need 99 and older heads when building up 99 and older 2.4/2.0L and vice versa for 00 and newer. Not to mention how to save money on pistons and rods. Interchangability is why I like Chrysler over other car manufacturerers.

Hold on I typed that all wrong, shit, oh well

Translation for those that don't speak sleep deprived L0r1:

Older 2.4L heads better for less back preassure due to port design, in addition Neon intake up to 99 will bolt on. Even though the new style head outflows the old style the old style is better for forced induction applications. Yes they could have gotten more out of it, but as usual they were trying to pinch their pennies.

ok I'm going to give up now, I just can't get my hands to type the rapid thought process, I'm going to have a good dream tonight about building up that 2.0L I have sitting at home and dropping it in a car, later I will give a better translation. Mk, sleepy time now.
