i just got a 2002 dodge ram 1500 and the only problem with the whole car is the passanger side door wont open from the outside but i opens from the inside if anyone knows what the problem is (looks like the latch the connects door to the door jam) or where i can get it fix lmk i know the dealership will do it but for bookoo bucks any help is great and thanks



also it looks like someone tried to pry off the door handle and use a flat head in the key whole to break in but really doesn't look that bad from the outside

 

Take the door panel off and see if the rod that goes from the outside door handle to the door latch is off . just a little help .

Hay man sorry to leave you hanging thought it was fixed. the rod is off at which end if it is off at the handle it goes there there is a plastic clip that i call a jesus clip you will see them on the rest of the rods , if it is on the other end look at the latch and you will see anarm with no rod (same clip is on that end also) it is not that hard to do . good luck.
