Your best bet would be to find a donar turbo car. You will need all the electronics, including the logic module, in the kick panel, and the power module under the hood. The axles out of the turbo car should also be used.

It's not a hard job to do. But if you have no experience in this kind of stuff it would almost be impossible. I would look for a decent turbo car to buy rather than try to modify a non-turbo version. There are still some out there in good shape that can be had for fairly cheap.

I agree, the turbo block is stronger..and turbo engines are a dime a dozen in the junkyards...do the whole engine swap...an entire T3 engine is even better(but much harder than the T1 and T2 engines) because its DOHC and comes with 225HP stock found in 93 daytona IROC R/Ts, 93 shelby CSXs, 93 Spirit R/Ts and a few others I cant think of right now...you probably wont be able to find one though....get the more common T2, chrysler still sells staged upgrades for them similar to SRT4 stages

you can find alot of great tech info at Donovan's Dodge Garage . hes the guy that owns the 10 sec. reliant k car if anybody knows of it. he also sells a bunch of stuff too. if your also looking for performance parts, forward motion sells alot of stuff for the 2.2/2.5 motors. you can even get parts to build the automatic. if its carb, mopar use to sell a supercharger for them back in the day. there really rare to find now though. if you have any questions or need help with the car let me know. im a tech for a dodge dealer.
