ALL the internals of the 2.4L will bolt into the 2.0L too. I've been thinking about a 2-door SRT-4, ehehe.

wrong, the internals are not the same. the head is the same until 2001. srt rod and pistons will fit into an earlier 2.4 and that is an easy swap into a 1st gen. but the crank cant be used

AH... That's what I get for repeating second hand info... I remeber I saw an older neon on "sports car revolution" that he said had SRT4 internals and SRT turbo. It made like 260whp and ran high 12's.

id like to do an 2.4 but dont have the $$ to do it. im sticking with the turbo for now.
