Default 93 civic sedan with negative camber

Guessing when I'm not seeing it........

1.I would check the height of the springs. Lower/collapsing springs will cause negative camber.........but I have 89 springs on my car and yours should not be collapsed on a '93......

2.Check for severely worn upper ball joints and upper control arm bushings....that might also cause neg camber.

Is the suspension bone stock and you have owned it since new?
Was the car crashed?

If you want someone to take a quick look at it, no charge, catch me at the meets or get back with me. -Bob

Sorry, its the rear of the car. No its not the original suspension but stock none the less. Purchased car just over a year ago and trying to make it right. Im a long way from you Im sure and I dont do carshows. Bushings maybe?? I know you have to see the car but just hoping for some ideas.
grady
Ok. There are 3 horizontal links on a '93 as well as a trailing arm. All have rubber bushings. You might look at the rubber bushings. I have replaced a few of those using my hydraulic press.

Try jacking it up to check for looseness. If the neg camber is outrageous the looseness will be easy to find. Huge cracks in the rubber will also be easy to find.-Bob

Yes. I replace bushings, ball koints, bearings, axle stubs, etc. I have all the pullers and a case of adapters for my hydraulic press, etc. When you get the parts, get back with me and we can set up a day.

You might also look under the car to see which bushings need to be replaced, to be sure the kit includes everything that's worn out, cracked, etc.. Also look for bushings where the bolt doesn't go through the center. That sometimes indicates that the bushing has worn to one side-Bob

Yeah I believe there are some worn items in the rear suspension somewhere. I researched and found several bushing "kits" available in urethane. Is replacing these bushing something you do? I would just order what I need and bring car to you if you were interested in the job. Let me know.

While some people replace the smaller bushings
fairly early, The big one gets put off....until after they sell the car.........You might be able to get the big bushing from the autoparts store, if it's not included in the kit.-Bob

I had a look and what really stands out is the cracked/crumbling bushing that is on the large lower arm towards the front--against body of car-The large oval one. Dont know if it immedialtly causes problem but It moves around a lot. Thoughts??
Thanks,Grady
