Are we going to do the tent thing for the autocross??? What do I need to get?

 

A cooler...I know I dont have one. Ill look around for the tent. try and see who possibly has one.

 

Ok I can get a cooler. How big should it be?

 

Ill be bringing some coolers ice and sodas. We still need more people to get in on this. I think we have maybe seven people who are going to actually show at the moment.

 

If you are looking for a tent for the Florida State Fairgrounds Auto-X on September 8-9th...let me save you the trouble. Where we (and you are welcome to join us) park unload and hang out is on the RIGHT HAND SIDE of the course about half-way down. It is in the middle of a line of trees so there is more than enough shade (i.e. no tent needed). Very few people go over there but it is actually the BEST spot for viewing the event.

A cooler is always a good idea. I usually bring a standard picnic/beach cooler filled with ice and everybody that shows up brings there own drinks to put in it (although I wont be there this time...). As far as snacks...be sure to bring a trash bag it will help out when it comes time to clean up. Usually we send the girls out to get lunch at McDs or Wendys. (thats the benefit in being with a group!).

Dont forget to bring SunBlock and Chairs. I think that helps some...

Also Please look for Steve(Blue Si) or Hector(Red Supercharged Si). They should be there. Feel free to walk up to them and introduce yourself they are cool and dont bite.

I wish I could go...BUT....I get to take the ITR through the Blue Ridge Highway instead!!! Hell yea...Ridge Running through the mountains!!
