1993 Lexus LS400. Black exterior with tan leather interior (that looks like a 20 year old leather interior... but it does have nice new high quality floor mats!). This is a one family car purchased brand new in 1992. The car was originally owned by my mother and I bought it from her roughly 2 years ago with 225k miles on it. The car currently has 259,xxx miles on the original 250 horsepower 4.0L 1UZFE V8 and has been maintained by European Performance in St. Petersburg, FL. Last week the car received a new radiator and auxiliary fan along with an oil change. The typical power steering leak issue that happens with these cars was fixed the correct way at approximately 200k miles along with numerous other maintenance items including the timing belt. The serpentine belts were replaced roughly 20k miles ago as well as the coolant temp sensor. The motor runs strong but first thing in the morning the transmission does slip. Once it shifts into gear the first time, which typically takes about 20-30 seconds, the car runs perfectly. The car also has a dent on the driver's side where it was hit while backing out of the garage (whoops). The only other issue the car has is the trunk release button located inside the car is not functioning. Everything else in the car functions as it should; cold a/c, hot heat, power seats work etc. The car has an Alpine DVD navigation system installed that plays through an Alpine TME-M750 monitor. This monitor does have one "dead spot" on it and the remote control (which is still available on Ebay for very little $) functions intermittently due to a recent issue with battery acid leaking inside the remote. The stock radio was removed and replaced with a Pioneer AVH 4400DVD connected through a Beatsonic kit (if you're not familiar, this is THE way to hook up an aftermarket head unit in a Lexus). This has been a great unit and plays DVD/CD's, has an F/M tuner, has the optional Sirius Satellite Tuner and an iPod/iPhone connector that will allow you to control your iPod/iPhone while it's charging. The car also has Boston Acoustic component speakers in the front. This is a very comfortable car for road trips and has been on MANY over the years. Nostalgia makes me hate selling it but I recently had to pick up a vehicle I can tow with and don't need an extra car, nor do I have a place to park it. Asking $1,500 OBO. Regarding test drives, the tag has been transferred to my new vehicle and it is in "storage" according to my insurance company so that will be a bit complicated. Happy to show the vehicle. It would definitely be sweet with an r154... Also, pulled the receipt for the timing belt and it was done at approximately 220k miles. Front shocks were replaced around 235k miles.
