I just recently bought this car but I've decided that I don't have the resources/time/money to justify keeping it. I actually owned it once before a couple of years ago.

It's a 5 speed and the clutch and pressure plate were just replaced last week, so it's got less than 50 miles on the brand new clutch. I replaced the fuel filter and recharged the A/C. PO replaceld the radiator, thermostat, upper and lower radiator hoses, water pump to coolant distribution pipe hose, plugs, plug wires, cap, and rotor.

Some typical rust right above the rear bumper and a few other small spots, but that's the worst of it. The front bumper was removed before I got it. It's also been converted to a carb set up. It's got a redline intake manifold with a webber 38/38 carb.

The interior is mint. There are no tears in the seats and the headliner is still in good condition with just one rip in the sunroof part. There are a few cracks on the dash, but the rest of the interior makes up for it. It's got the pop out windows in the back and will come with an extra one. It'll also come with an extra Sunroof still work (manual crank).

It does need a few things to be a daily: The shifter housing is held onto the transmission by a couple of mounts which are broken..because of this, it won't shift into reverse, 2nd or 4th gears. It is difficult to explain, but it has nothing to do with the actual tranny/clutch. It can most likely be fixed by just welding the mount back to the tranny.It is not a huge problem but it keeps the car from driving since half of the gears can't be reached. It also really needs tie rod ends and the carb could use a cleaning/tuning.

I'd like to get $1,200 . It'll most likely need to be towed unless you're in St. Pete. I'm also open to trades for something that I can daily.

You work at the lil quick lube on park right? Used to see the car up there all the time, brought my old e36 m3 in a few times when i was to lazy to change my own oil. Wish i didn't have a bunch of fines to pay, i need a cheap daily cause my e30 is going under the knife.

 

Nope...that was the PO who is also friend of mine. I love the car and it doesn't really need too much to be a daily...I just don't really have the time/money to put into it.

 

Ahh gotchya, Well shit man...hopefully i can thought some cash together would love to add another oldie to my driveway ill be in touch possibly .

 

I'll consider any reasonable offers for this.
