exactly what i say to everyone that just converts the car.

any car that is converted and is not reported to the dmv is a non legit conversion. you can get fined, and even worse your car can be seized by the local p.d or h.w.p cops dont joke about this, they bother me about mine all the time.

 

if you are going through the hassle of swapping firewalls. cutting, welding, body filler, sanding, and painting to have the usdm vin on the firewall would be worth it. it would be the same steps people go through to 'shave and tuck' their bays. does law enforcement where you live check motor vins as well?
