FS: 2000 Volkswagen New Beetle 1.8 Turbo 5-speed
Up for sale is my wife's old car, a 2000 VW 1.8 Turbo Beetle 5 speed with 153,726 miles. We bought a new car and have no room for this car. Feel free to PM me if you need more pictures or have any questions.
KBB value in fair condition is $2415, and I am asking $2200 OBO.
PRO:
- All maintenance has been done, and I have records of all maintenance since we got the car. struts, spark plugs, and brakes have been recently changed
- Engine is perfect and trouble free. No leaks, noises, or other issues.
- Manual transmission works great with no grinding, leaks or other issues
- A nice Sony headunit has been installed. It plays MP3 CD's and has an ipod connection that will play and charge your ipod. I have also installed premium Rockford Fosgate speakers front and rear.
- It gets great gas mileage. 27mpg combined and low 30's on the highway.
CON:
- Cosmetically the car has seen better days. The paint has rock chips, the fog lights are broken, the driver's side door handle fell off, and headliner is loose at the corners. For these reasons I have listed the car below KBB fair value.
