04 Berlina Black s2000 / hardtop / Bilstein Pss9 / Shine
Up for sale is my 2004 Berlina Black / Black Interior s2000 w/ 21,700 miles. This is my second S, and is pretty much set up exactly how I felt it should have come from the factory. Unfortunately, I was one of the many victims who had the convertible top slashed / Seats / Shift Knob stolen. I decided just to remove everything soft top related and mount a hardtop. The hardtop is mounted with black powdercoated Izzy Hardware Brackets ( Izzy's Custom Cages - Honda S2000 Hardtop Bracket Kits ), which IMO are superior to the OEM hardware.
The car feels very solid, and there isn’t a creak or rattle what so ever with this hardware/hardtop setup. The Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers are amazing, and I have a great alignment to go with them. I thought I’d keep this S forever, but I’m focusing on work, and don’t really get to enjoy it as much as I should. It's garage kept, and rarely driven as I work only a few miles from my home. I’ll definitely get another one down the road, but most likely to turn into a dedicated track car. The car is paid off with title in hand, I’m not desperate to sell what so ever…so please avoid lowballing, I’ll just ignore it. The car is in great shape, and has not been launched since I got it at about 11,000 miles over a year ago…and tires have about 80% tread left. Here is a breakdown of the modifications, with values listed:
OEM Hardtop - $3,000
Bilstein Pss9 coilovers - $1,200
Invidia Q300 Exhaust - $700
Comptech Intake - $300
Shine Front Bumper plus paint - $1,000
2010 Civic Type R shift knob (CR Spec, but with red numbers instead of yellow) - $55
Ap1 wheels professionally refinished w/ black CR lug nuts and toyo proxy tires - $700
= $6,955
Here is a list of subtractions I’ve come up with:
Soft top with Frame - $1,000
OEM Intake - $50
OEM Exhaust - $100
OEM AP2 front bumper - $250
OEM suspension - $100
AP2 Stock Shift Knob - $55
AP2 wheels - $700
= $2,255
= 6,955 – 2,255 = 4700
$17,500 (Value of car) + 4,700 = $22,200

My asking Price would be $21,000. But there's a small paint blemish on the bottom of the front bumper (will get pictures soon, when I get access to my camera...damn shitty roads
), so my asking price is:
$20,500 Firm.
At this time, I’d prefer to sell as is and not part out…but if I did, I’d want to start with a hardtop trade for your glass softop / soft top frame / motors etc. plus cash. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. I might consider Trades, but mainly looking for $$$. Thanks for looking!
