That does suck. That happened to alot of audis too. I had my motor under warrenty so they replaced the whole thing. I thing the sludge thing would mean the same thing for you?

 

yes and no. same sludge issue, but mine has yet that i know of caused damage to the motor. so it can still be cleaned out and ran. i dont know what is more time saving to replace the motor or to clean out the current one. either way. great project for someone with the time and place to do either.
