I need to buy a car in the next two weeks and I'm looking for a clean EG Civic Hatchback. I know... they are really difficult to find. My only requirements are a manual transmission, working air conditioning, a non-smoker owner, and no serious accident damage. I've been looking for a month but haven't seen exactly what I'm looking for, so someone has to know where a decent Civic is that is priced accordingly. What's a good price-- it depends on the car and I'm realistic about the value but my upper limit is $5,500 for a B16 or B18C that has been done correctly. Manual windows, no factory power steering, no sunroof-- that's perfect. Upgraded interior, exhaust header, and rear disk brakes-- even better.

A car with a B16, B18, or D16 engine swap is fine, but I don't want anything riced-out with a ridiculous boy-racer body kit or something that's been at the track every week while the owner power shifts at 8,500 RPM. I also don't need a K20, a superchager or turbo-- I need a reliable commuter car that I like to drive.

I am a cash buyer, I'm not looking for any free joy-rides, and I'm not an under-age kid who will need to get Mom's permission before I hand you the money. I'm only interested in a '92 - '95 Hatchback and preferably in the Tampa area. Completely stock or modified, as long as it is clean. Please don't contact me about buying your crappy, non EG, car that you have been trying to sell/trade on here for the last three months.
