Hey guys, I have 88 Toyota Cressida automatic, w/od that I need to get rid of.
It has 2 problems, one of them is lash adjuster, I think one or a couple are ticking, and fuel pump.

When I found out that motor started ticking I stopped driving it right away so the motor is still very stout and what not and since it has not been driven for more than a couple of years it either has sludge in the fuel lines or the pump took a crap, so much for starting.

The interior is red in pretty deicent shape and exterior paint is pretty bad no rust and stuff at least not much, but the panels are great.

I need to get this thing out of my driveway, since I am not planning on driving it anymore, if anyone is interested throw a number at me.
It would make a great motor to rebuilt and whatnot and I heard people even Turbo the 7M motors and run them in the chassis, too bad it has a 5M, but I am pretty sure that could be Turboed I just don't know if it would be worth it.

Offer anything, I was thinking about getting 3-4 hundo for it, cause I know if it gets fixed those cars and motors run forever.

Sorry the reason I just saw the post says 1987, but I put 1988, is cause my girlfriend just corrected me and I forgot to change it, but it IS 88.

 

normally fuel pumps to not give the engine a ticking noise. You sure its not rod knock?
