Default 1973 Triumph Spitfire MkIV Convertible PROJECT! $450!!!

This is a CLASSIC teal '73 Spitfire convertible, bought about 10 years ago, driven home quite a few miles, driven a time or two after that, then laid to rest, awaiting an interior and some touch-ups.. The car currently is without a battery, and due to rusting, is difficult to roll. When the car wa bought,a ll it needed was interior work. The dual Weber carb -engine ran fine, and came with plenty of spare parts (intake, carbs, radiator cap, steering wheel, radio, engine head, shifter housing, and a few others). A few interior pieces are missing, but most, if not all, are in the trunk. It is definitely a fixer-upper, but the body is straight and the block is in good shape as well, and the last time we touched it, it ran and drove just fine. This car just needs some TLC to make it the lovely roadster it once was. Note: This car, with the engine, only ways 1500 pounds.

ASKING $450
I really need this car gone. Help me clean out my garage and put this baby on the road, where she belongs! Thanks!
I have plenty of very high resolution (1600x1200) pictures, and would be willing to take more at the request of those interested.

Damn, that looks like a great project. If I wasn't in between homes right now I would be all over it. BUMP for you.

Still for sale, right now I got a guy that will probably buy it for 450, but highest price wins.
