For Sale 88 MustangLX 5.0 Convertible
88 mustang LX 5.0, 5 speed. Dark red with dark grey leather interior. About 114K miles. The car runs great. It just needs a few little things to be perfect.
I bought the car a few months ago as a project but now because of financial situation, i have to sell it.
The body is in decent condition. A couple of dents and the top of back bumper is fading. The top has a small hole but works fine. I installed new headlights with clear corners. New tail lights. 17" ROH ZS wheels. The drivers side door hinges are new. Passengers side hinges need to be replaced. New front brake pads just put in.
The interior has a new carpet. I replaced the door panels with 93 panels. 2002 dark grey leather seats front and rear. I also put in a pioneer cd player in it.
The engine is stock with 1 3/4 long tube ceramic coated BBK headers and New 2 chamber Flowmaster catback. New 02 sensors. Its still speed density. I put a new King Cobra Clutch and a B&M Pro Ripper shifter in. The tranny grinds shifting to 2nd gear. Syncros need to be replaced. Adjustable quadrant, firewall adjuster and cable were just put in.
Oh yeah...The power steering rack has a leak.
Im asking $3000 firm for the car. I spent alot more then that on the car but I need the $ more then the car right now. Theres a couple of pics in my gallery.
