1998 Z28 For Sale
Well time to put the Z up for sale....whoever buys this car is getting a good deal and a good car... Our baby boy is due within the next few weeks and a new project is here, so the Z has to go now. The car is not perfect but I am listing it as honest as possible. So here goes....
1998Z Navy Blue Metallic
Glay cloth interior
A4 ( shifts great!)
3.23 rear (GU5 code)
Right at 90K miles (mostly highway- I work 65 miles roundtrip)
All original except flowmaster muffler, SLP lid, and free mods.
BRAND NEW PERFORMANCE TIRES (approx. 1500 miles on them) and new front brake pads. I still have the rear pads in the box and will go with the car.
New NGK plugs and MSD wires
No T-Tops
All power options
Factory Monsoon CD Stereo System
Cold A/C
Factory chrome 5-star wheels
This car runs great!
There is none of the typical piston slap that is associated with the LS1 cars.
Interior is in really good condition...car has never been smoked in.
I have taken the car to the track once when I bought it over a year ago and it ran 14 flat in stock form in the 95 degree heat (July) on really really bad tires.
Flaws I can think of....
1. odometer works but the lighting is very dim. I was told this is a electionic board problem. ????????
2. small dent about size of baseball at the bottom or driver side rocker panel
3. There is a little bug damage on the nose and tip of the hood. It was there when I bought it used from the dealership.
4. One small ping in the drivers side qtr panel wheel lip (about the size of a marble-very unnoticeable)
5. paint is 7 years old and is in great shape! Does have a few tiny stone chips on hood. I have touched these up and they are very unnoticeable.
Car is always garaged, washed, and cleaned weekly! Very well taken care of. In fact, it is getting serviced again this week.
Just finished clay-baring the car and came out very nice.
Car gets compliments and looks everywhere I go.
I owe 7,750 as of this date, but I am about to make another payment. Price is $7,500 Firm. Car is in Florida and I have alot of pics....
