Larry! Long Time! Congrats on the baby!

People, I can definately vouch for the awesomeness of this car. It is definately one of the most insane cars I have had the pleasure of playing with. The power it makes is just rediculous.

It'll make the next owner proud! (along with making him shit his pants!)

Good luck on the sale Larry!

Yeah...long time no see Kyle. Savannah (who is now almost 6 months old), keeps both me and my wife quite busy! What have you been up to?

Thanks for the props.....I really have enjoyed this car. I might be a little sad to see it go, but with Savannah being so little and all the other things I have to do, lately the car basically plays 10th string when it comes to priorities! The only thing I am slightly regretful of is that I haven tracked it since tuning it up to 500+ whp. I am curious to see what type of mph it might achieve 365 whp got 117 mph (with a 12.3 and a 2.1 sec 60 ft....since I didnt want to break an axle), so I figure the 500 should be easy mid 120's (even with a granny like me driving)!

bump for an absolutely awesome car. that thing has to be the sleeper of all time. would you classify it as daily driveable or should the next owner buy it as a toy? and how is the lag on the turbo? ive got a solid $6k sitting in the bank waiting but i should have another $4k coming within the next month or so. If someone doesnt scoop that thing up i might have to come check it out.

To all those who have emailed me, check your inboxes as I have sent replies to your questions.

Also.....a few other things on the car has crossed my mind that I should add.

I also installed an automatic intercooler sprayer system. This system is triggered off of the alky injection system so that whenever the alky pump turns on, so does the intercooler sprayer pump. It works like a champ! Between the alky injection, the larger IC, and the IC sprayer, I have logged intake air temps BELOW ambient when boost was in the low 20's.

Since the car is ridiculous under very heavy boost, I have a wireless dual stage boost controller installed as well. I made quick mention of it above. I wanted an easy way to jump from low to high boost from inside the car, but didnt want to have a wired switch stuck somewhere on the dash (which would require a drilling ahole, etc). I though that would be inconvenient. So, I took a generic wireless remote fob and transceiver kit (the same type used for remote unlocking, alarms, etc) and use this to trigger a solenoid under the hood which switch between two grainger valves with two boost settings. It works lightning fast and the remote fob is small enough to easily fit in your right hand while you hold the shifter (so switching boost on the fly is easy).

I also didnt want to drill holes in the interior, so the gauges which are installed in the console (under the flip lid for stealthiness) installed in gauge pods which are held in place with an appliance epoxy. This epoxy holds them securely, but can be removed if needed by pulling with some effort. In this way I was able to get the gauges in without drilling holes.

Thanks for the bump.

Although I have used it as a toy (and thats what its best suited for) the car could be driven more frequently. I have driven it on the 70 mile round trip to work many times. But, I would estimate that for safety and longevity if the car were to be driven all the time that the power should be turned down. The lifespan at 500 whp will obviously be alot shorter than at 250 whp. The clutch is also more chattery than stock (its a 4 puck copper ceramic disk with a stock pressure plate), but its perfectly streetable. You just have to give the car a few more revs at stop lights, etc.

The lag on the turbo is actually not all that bad. When I datalogged MAP voltage vs rpm, I saw that the 3 bar MAP sensor was pegged at 4400 rpm. So, that means boost passed 29 psi by then So, for this size turbo, the lag really isnt all that bad.

In short, if you at anything about about 3500-3600 rpm and you hit it, the car will take off quite quickly. If you are over 4000 rpm and hit it, the boost ramp up is instantaneous. The engine rev limit is 7500 rpm, with a "soft" limiter at 7200 rpm so theres a pretty good powerband available.
