Default FS - 1987 MK3 Supra Turbo

This car has been awesome, but it's time to move on. It's now the time to start building my credit instead of modding cars. I've never dynoed or ran the 1/4 mile with the mods that are currently on the car, so I don't have exact performance numbers. The engine has 172k miles on it, but it's been holding up and running very well. I've been boosting between 10psi and 13psi daily for over 4 months without any problems. Engine compression was measured at a perfect 150-151-149-150-148-148 a few months ago. I do get the engine code for the throttle position sensor about once a week, but I'm including a TPS and that will take care of that. I'm looking for $4600 or best offer, this is negotiable. You can email me at gaiter83@yahoo.com, I'm on AIM as gaiter83 or you can call my cell at 813-335-5312.

Most of you on here probably don't know me, but if you want a "reference", you can ask PoppaSmurf...

this car is in awsome running condition. Im suprised how well the motor runs for such miles. I was with him and helped him put in new front oil seals and camshaft seals and a new timing belt. The thing has almost new tires. He takes care of it and is a good owner. The stuff he put on the car alone might be worth 4k. Good luck with the sale Jeremy

Please look at the list of mods (with prices) below. You'll see that I've put around $5200 in this car in a year and a half !!!

This is what the car needs:
-Antenna (included)
-Throttle Position Sensor (included)
-Rear spoiler seals (brand new seals included)
-Light Failure Sensor (can usually get one for $5-$15 on Ebay/SF)
-Need to realign speedometer cable (installed new one, but not alligned properly)
-There's a crack in the dash, so that would need to be replaced, I know someone who sells a lot of Supra parts and can have him sell you the next grey dash he gets for probably around $50

I'll also include the following as I have no use for them:
-Head Gasket Kit (had it in case of emergency BHG)
-stock downpipe
-extra gauge cluster
-Can add a Tial BOV with mild or stainless steel flange for extra $250

No it hasn't, unless previous owner did and didn't tell me so I didn't think it had mechanical problems... but like I said I've been boosting 10psi-13psi for 4-5 months and the HG is holding up just fine. I myself would change the head gasket before boosting higher, I don't deny that... But right now, at that level, it's fine.

I wouldn't sell the car for $4000-$4500 if I had already replaced the head gasket with all the other parts that are included. And if I don't get that much, I'll just finish this project.

The only reason I'd sell is because I have an opportunity to venture into another "Supra project".

Hope I didn't come off rude

Actually, the NADA value at 172k miles is $1,775 to $3,400.
Add this to $5,200 in mods/additions...

I can't sell for too low, cuz I would not have a car for awhile (not being able to buy anything)... The car is well worth $4,000 to someone looking for a nice mk3. If I don't get $4k, I'll just finish this one. If I sell it, I'll probably get a mint '90-'92 turbo.
