1991 Eagle Talon TSi AWD
I have a 1991 Eagle Talon TSi AWD for sale (unfortunately I'm just north of Jacksonville).
It has 108k mi. it's black with cloth interior. NO SUN ROOF. I bought the car to build a race car but haven't the time to finish it.
Oh and I spun #1 rod bearing. It has new plugs and wires and it otehrwise stock except for a manual boost controller and boost gauge. I rewired the fuel pump with 10ga wire so I could run it at 16psi. The bearing was spun due to a problem with putting oil in the engine. My 'pit crew' was supposed to add another quart before a race I was in, and well, they didn't do it. I was entering turn 1 on an oval track and all the oil went to the passenger side, away from #1 rod and it dried out and spun. There was no other damage.
Now this is an AWD car. I know you want that.
The block is good, but I'd imagine it need to be cleaned up a bit since it has 108K on it.
It has the stronger 6-bolt crank. And 1G rods, since it is a 1g.
The shifter needs bushings, and you can get it in all gears if you play with the shifter. I could get it in all the gears every try, but it took me 2-3 minutes to figure it all out.
All I want is $1300 firm.
The headlights flip up on correctly. The fog lights work. the trunk and everything aft of the back seat has been stripped. The exhaust has been cut behind the CAT. The window motors work and so do the power locks. It has no radio or speakers. The AC works too, but the belt is no longer installed.
