So it finally fukin happened.
I was on the 408 East/West Express way in Orlando...headed home at 150 mph.

With my luck, I zip by an Orange County Sherrifs deputy in an unmarked Dodge Caravan. All of a sudden I see flashing blue and red on the dash. I could have easily out run him, but there was a toll coming up in about a mile.

After I pull over, we have a few words:

Officer: "do you know how fast you were going"?
Me: "no sir, Im not sure".
Officer: "well I dont know either because my van's governor was
kickin in at 110 and you were still pullin on me."
Me" <trying hard not to laugh> "really sir? I didnt realize i
was going that fast, sorry sir."

I was really polite, and I guess you can say I used the whole military thing alittle. Instead of arresting me for wreckless driving and charging me up the ass, he was cool and gave me a "Violation of Traffic Control Device" (a general ticket for things like changing lanes w/o a signal, running a stop sign, etc.). Which is a $80 ticket and 3 points on my license.

I guess I got off easy, but it still fuckin sucks. My first ticket on my bike.

Wow, going 150 and that n00b even got in sight of you to pull you over. I thought you'd be halfway to Argentina before he could even pull onto the highway.

Sucks man.

 

I got my first last night.

The FHP(Camaro SS)clocked us at 130 on the Howard Franklin.
Since two of us stopped, he gave us a lecture and wrote us a ticket for 75 in a 65!!
It's still gonna cost me about $200, driving course, but no points!

A few weeks ago, there were 3 of us heading to Lakeland doing between 95 & 135. We blew past two FHP's setting in the median and they never moved. A few miles up the road, we past another FHP going in the opposite direction at 100 and he never hit his brakes... I guess it cought up to me last night!
Learned my lesson...SLOW THAT BEEOTCH DOWN!

kind of funny cause i was racing head to head with a state patrol lastnight of course i let him win - we're doing around 120+ changing lanes on i275.

 

youd a bin running that EX pretty hard at 120 plus, mine struggled to achieve 125 when i had it, granted the speddo said I was going faster...theyhave considerable error.

 

same here its seem like its stuck at 120 when i first got it. but sometimes i noticed its pass 120. yeah its got some error.

speedometer error
30mph indicated, actual 29.50
60 mph indicated, actual 57.53

 

plus I forgot to add, I added a tooth to the front sprocket to drop the revs a bit...as such could only manage a 13.01@100 mph with 25k on the odo, prolly actually hrt my top speed ffrom lack of oomph to pull it
