Default 2003 R6???

I am just pondering the thought of getting into riding...Looked at all the 600cc bikes and I think I like this one the most but I have never rode it...So if anyone who has one or anyone has any insight to a good beginner bike it would be helpful...I have rode bikes before but not too many street bikes mostly dirt bikes...Anyways let me know what you think...

I love my R6 and Chuck (SR20DET) will agree, most people told me not to get a newer bike for my first, or a bike like an R6 (with that much power) but as long as you have some self-control and good driving skill you should be alright, but I am very satisfied with mine, its addicting I cant stop riding it, let alone cleaning it.
