Played this and a few other vids for my father who is now 85 years old. He was a Brit, got his first bike new (a BSA B31) shortly after WWII so he could go to school, 1948-49 I think. His dad helped him pay for it. The little BSA was his freedom, he could go anywhere with it.

Later, in the 1950s he bought a Vincent Rapide, the Rolls Royce of café motorcycles. He says it was all good clean fun, not like the media made it out to be. He as a couple of pics of himself and his friends, just like the ones here.

I think he longs to see some of those friends now, as many of them have gone forever and the rest are fading away. It's good to see the new youth taking an interest in motorcycles again.

You'll never have a better time, with better friends than the ones you ride with, and that's just the way it should be.
