Default Motorcyle Oil...

I was wondering what type/brand of oil you guys use in your bikes.
Im picky about oil in my car (I use Mobil 1 synthetic every 3000 miles), and I was curious as to what type of oil would be best in my bike.

Ive heard that Motul is good. Any opinions? Is Motul synthetic? Are synthetic oils prefered in sport bikes?

BTW, I drive a 97 Katana 600.

Any input would be apprietiated.

Mike.

Well if your bike is like most bikes they have a wet clutch and they use the same oil to lubricate them as the engine oil, sometimes synthetic oils give you problems with the clutch.

I suggest using what the Manufactor recommends.....
