Idea
Oakley should make polarized shields for helmets like the Corsair.
Someone make that happen. I guarantee you I would buy one. Thank you. brandon |
go to oakley.com and then get about 500 to 1000 people to email them and im sure they'll put it into consideration... at the least
think about, say.... 750 will want to buy the sheilds for $110 a pop 750 x 110 = $82,500 say it takes about 50 cents to make each. so say 750 x .50 = $375 so minus $375 from $82,500 = 82,125 SOOO..... they make ruffly $82,125 pure profit off them:-o give or take taxes and such and thats just a start... you gotta put in consideration other country and replacements and differents styles long story short.... ya they should... and I cant beleive I took ten minutes doing that...... |
Fuck oakley...
I have a perfect frames of E-Wires that the bastards stopped making nose & ear pieces for... Not the shit I want to hear when I dropped $150 in sun glasses. Then they thought they where doing me a favor by giving me a $25 credit for my frames. If I could I would have slapped them in the face with my dick... Brandon... Stick a magnet to your shield... that way depending on the side of the magnet you choose, you should get + or - polarization on your shield... Purty smurt huh? |
 @ the magnet idea ^
Anyway, I have 2 sets of polarized Oakleys and they are AWESOME. They get rid of every bit of glare and are very clear. The older pair, I have had for almost 5 years, they still make all the parts for them but I don't need them as they have held up just fine! Also, I think that making those shields would cost (them) a lot more than 50 cents. Especially after you consider R&D. I think it's a great idea but I'm not trying to find 1,000 people (I probably couldn't) who would be willing to dish out what they would probably want for one. brandon |
Costa del mar fathoms under a tinted shield works fine for me. The shield would be great though. I would buy one.

No the way to go is to get that face shield that fades between light and dark. I'll try to find it.
