a valve adjustment Will.........
 
make my bike run smoother? just quite it? i think its the next thing i need done to my bike. any advice?

it will make it run quieter for sure. take it to a shop you trust.

it will make the bike run 100% better & quite..over all every thing will be in time again! +1 on a shop you can trust.. ;)
