...its 30mph over the speed limit anywhere in the state requires a civil court appearance. and no possibility to have the points removed as it was written originally. the fine gets doubled if you do it again within 12 months. this went into effect oct 1, 2006.

This is news to me... I got a 101mph in a 65mph zone (HCSO) and it was not marked court appearance required. I got a lawyer, Keith A. Warshofsky, P.A. , anyway as I have some other tickets on my record. I still had to pay the fine but the lawyer got the points dropped. I got the ticket coming home from this past Bike Week in Daytona, so it was after Oct. 2006.

Use Mayberry and Rich without a doubt. These guys are incredible. They do criminal defense mostly but I had a friend get nailed in Polk for doing like 98 in a 70 and Jason Mayberry got the ticket dismissed without my friend paying any fine at all. They're the best in the Tampa area.

 

That 41 section from 54 to fletcher is a trap there always hiding out somewhere.

 

I'm not reading all that, but I use the Ticket Clinic...1800citation...haven't had to call them in a while though...

 

If the cops would just start shooting people that are speeding...then i'm sure people would slow down..G/L with your ticket.
